Senna 7.5mg Tablets

Description:

Senna 7.5mg Tablets are for the short-term relief of occasional constipation. Senna is a natural laxative made from the leaves and fruit of the senna plant.

Ingredients:
Sennosides (total) 7.5mg, Maize Starch, Tricalcium Phosphate, Magnesium Sterate.

Direction:

- For oral use

Adults and the elderly: Take 1-2 tablets at bedtime when necessary.
- Should not be used in children under the age of 18 years.
- Do not take more medicine than the leaflet tells you to.
- If there is no bowel movement after 3 days, or if symptoms persist, in particular, if you - have persistent abdominal pain or are passing blood, consult your doctor.
- Not to be used for more than 1 week. Usually, it is sufficient to take this medicinal product up to 2 to 3 times during that week.

Warnings:

- Keep out of sight and reach of children
- Do not store above 25°C
- Store in the original package

This medicine isn’t suitable for people who:

- are allergic to any of the ingredients
- have kidney or heart failure
- have blockage or narrowing of the gastro-intestinal tract or bowel (ileus, intestinal obstruction or stenosis)
- have already taken a laxative and are still constipated
- have appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
- have severe dehydration
- have persistent or undiagnosed abdominal complaints e.g pain, nausea, or vomiting
- have paralysis or a lack of muscle tone in the bowel (atony)
- have faecal impaction or rectal bleeding for which you don't know the cause, or blood in your stools
- have had a sudden change in bowel habit that has lasted for more than 2 weeks
are pregnant or breast-feeding

Consult your doctor if:

- you accidentally take too many tablets
- symptoms worsen or persist
