• Ingredients

Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient.

Also contains sucrose, ethanol, and a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214, and E216).

Directions
Age: 1-2 years Dosage:
One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily Maximum Daily Dose: 2 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml)

Age: 2-6 years Dosage:
One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml)

Age: 6-12 years Dosage:
One large 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml)

Age: Adults and Children over 12 years Dosage:
Two large 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 12 large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml)

Children under 12 months: Not recommended

Piriton Cautions

• Do NOT give/take more than the recommended dose.
• Do NOT give to children under 12 months.
• Do NOT take if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any antihistamines.
• Do NOT take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Piriton Syrup.
• Do NOT take if you have taken MAOIs for depression in the last 14 days.
• Do NOT take if you are taking any other products containing anti-histamines.
• Do NOT drink alcohol with this medicine.
• This medicine can cause drowsiness, if it does then you should not drive or operate machinery.
