What is Eurax cream?
Eurax cream can give you relief from itching and skin irritation caused by sunburn, dry eczema, itchy dermatitis, allergic rashes, hives, nettle rash, chickenpox, insect bites and stings, heat rashes, and personal itching.
Relieves itching for up to 6 to 10 hours.

What can cause itchy skin (pruritis)?

Dry skin: Usually results from older age or environmental factors

Skin conditions and rashes: The itching usually affects specific areas (you may also have red, irritated skin or bumps and blisters)

Internal diseases: Skin may look otherwise normal except for the repeatedly scratched areas

Irritation and allergic reactions: wool, chemicals, soaps, and other substances can irritate the skin and cause itching

Not to be used during pregnancy

Not suitable for use by children under the age of 3 unless specifically recommended by a doctor

Do not use this cream in or around the eyes, on broken skin, inflamed skin, open wounds, or on weeping skin conditions

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients this product contains

If you are breastfeeding speak to your GP and only use if advised
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Crotamiton 10%.
Other ingredients: Methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), phenylethyl alcohol, glycerol, triethanolamine, sodium lauryl sulphate, ethylene glycol monostearate, stearyl alcohol, strong ammonia solution, stearic acid, hard paraffin, white beeswax, purified water and perfume (contains: geraniol, citronellol, coumarin, benzyl alcohol (0.0187%), benzyl benzoate (0.0047%), citral, d-limonene, eugenol, linalool).
How do I apply Eurax cream?
Dosage:
Adults, elderly, and children over 3 years.
Pruritus (itchy skin):
Apply to the affected area 2-3 times daily.
Scabies:
After a warm bath, dry thoroughly and rub well into the entire body surface (excluding face and scalp), once daily for 3-5 days. Under 3 years: not recommended except on medical advice.
